6-17-22- Emergency medicine delivery to the Ceylon College of Endocrinologists
The week of the 13th, we purchase and made the initial delivery of the Isophane Insulin (Humulin N) and Insulin pen donation requested by the College of Endocrinologist. The initial delivery was made to the De Soysa Hospital and the Castle Street Maternity Hospital Colombo. This donation is for 2,000 Humulin N cartridges and 100 insulin pens worth $6,930. Hema’s will deliver to the other hospitals in Colombo such as the National Hospital & Colombo South Teaching Hospital. The rest will be delivered to hospitals in Kalutara, Kurunegala, Kandy, Nawalapitiya, Rathnapura, Matale, Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Hambantota, Karapitiya and Seeduwa in the coming weeks. This is due to the serious challenges in getting diesel & petrol. They are planning to complete the rest of the deliveries by the first week of July
